That's this Saturday, in the conference room at the San Juan Island Library. Years ago, I designed and created that space with my company, Befaux & After. It'll be fun speaking in there - not about art, or murals, or faux finishing or color, but about Limba Systems. Rebecca, Past and Present.
I'm calling it a workshop, but maybe it's a seminar. Or a talk. Or an interaction. Or a fun way to spend an hour or two after the farmer's market closes. We'll probably wait until 1:15 to get going, so f.m. shoppers will have time to get there. I plan to stop by the market myself for some goodies.
I know this is about weight loss, but it's also about loving food. Good food. Local food.
The plan for the workshop/seminar/talk/interaction is pretty basic: I'll explain what I've learned about olfactory memory and its use as a subconscious motivator, and how that led me to begin Limba Systems - a new island company. [Okay, so far a company of One, but this will change soon.]
We will also discuss female body image, and how negative effects of mainstream media have sabotaged our love for our bodies. Without love, one cannot worship. And worshiping the female form is one religion I'm not willing to toss out.
We'll have fun. We'll get ourselves happy and hypnotized (only if you want to.) I'll also teach you how to self-hypnotize, so you can do it on your own at home.
I sure hope you'll come. I promise this: it will not be boring.
'til Saturday, then...
Love Your Body.
